Since the beginning of October this year, Swedbank Consulting Centre operates in new premises in the business centre ‘Wave’ developed by ‘Galio Group’ in Savanorių Av. in Vilnius. Along with the Consulting Centre, its customer service branch of Swedbank from Savanorių Av. also moved to these new premises. In total, the Bank will rent about 2 thousand m2 premises in the business centre ‘Wave’.
‘We estimate that the new premises will host more than 170 customer service specialists and consultants. We chose the premises in this business centre because of the advanced office systems and strategically good place for servicing of customers – there are many business companies situated around and a high concentration of residents,’ says Jūratė Gumuliauskienė, Head of Swedbank Customer Service.
According to her, no less important is the fact that ‘Galio Group’ developed building according to the BREEAM standard, which will ensure high quality and comfort for the Bank’s customers and employees through the introduction of innovative building sustainability, management and engineering systems.
‘We have focused on the customer comfort in the renewed customer servicing branch to ensure that residents are offered smart self-service facilities and quicker, more convenient and more flexible service,’ explains J. Gumuliauskienė.
When installing workstations, Swedbank took into account the sustainability criteria. In addition to using energy-efficient smart workplace lighting, the office furniture is manufactured in observance of sustainable business principles. Solutions for waste reduction and sorting were also implemented in the office premises.
According to J. Gumuliauskienė, in order to ensure comfort for employees, special recreation and leisure spaces were provided in the new premises. At that time, employees with school-age children will be able to bring them to the space for doing homework and playing games, which, due to the current situation of the pandemic, will function in line with the applicable public health norms and recommendations.
‘Swedbank pursues high requirements for comfort in working environment – we see as an important appreciation the fact that the Bank chose the business centre developed by us. We believe that business community based in the office building ‘Wave’ will discover the advantages of the modern workplace and New Town, which is one of the most promising districts of the capital city, while at the same time invigorating this area of the city,’ says Aurimas Martinkėnas, Commercial Projects Director at ‘Galio Group’.
The business centre ‘Wave’ developed by ‘Galio Group’ is of energy performance Class A and BREEAM rating Very Good (New Construction). Up to 10% of its consumed electricity will be produced by the solar power plant mounted on the roof of the building. In addition, the two-level underground site offers 16 places for charging electric cars, the storage facility for bicycles and kick scooters, and changing rooms with showers.
‘There is a recreation terrace on the roof of the building for people who will work in the business centre. Besides, the dining restaurant ‘ILunch’ of the innovative concept and the café ‘Caif Cafe’ are opening today,’ says A. Martinkėnas.
According to him, when the business centre opens almost all its premises will be rented with only about 1 000 m2 remaining vacant.
The construction of ‘Wave’ business centre was completed in September 2020.
